Overview / Features

API-SIO(98/PC) is the Windows version driver library software that provides products in the form of Win32 API functions (DLL). Various sample programs such as Visual Basic and Visual C++, etc is provided.

• A maximum of 256 channels are controllable.
• Capable of monitoring of transmission and reception completion timers.
• Reception buffer size can be set individually for each channel.
• Capable of XON/XOFF flow control.
  • Capable of XON/XOFF flow control. When there is insufficient space in the reception buffer, an XOFF code is sent to the other end requesting temporary suspension of transmission. On the contrary, when data reading proceeds after the transmission of the XOFF code and the available space becomes sufficient, an XON code is sent requesting resumption of transmission from the other end.
