Virtual Commissioning is widely applicable. We use it in our projects in infrastructure and industry. We create a Digital Twin of the control solution we build for machines and bridges or other infrastructural objects. Based on this, we can quickly optimize the design and virtually test the functionality and safety of the control solution. Connections with higher-level systems can also be tested in a virtual environment. When the control is physically connected to the installation and higher-level systems, nothing can go wrong. Simulating with SIMIT and NX MCD thus prevents delays during physical commissioning and ensures that projects are delivered just-in-time.
