With Evonik’s new hygiene service solution, customers receive dosing equipment together with an IoT connection. In addition, an oxidizing agent such as hydrogen peroxide is supplied or synthesized on-site – a so-called Water Hygiene as a Service solution. Through telemetric human-machine guidance, only as much hydrogen peroxide is added as is necessary to achieve the desired hygiene effects. Probes attached to the dosing units measure defined parameters. In the event of a deviation, the digital solution recommends the optimal addition of disinfectants. This real-time adaptation improves hygiene and failure rates and reduces costs. Users thus receive an “all-round carefree package” and do not have to worry about their water hygiene. A pay per use service contract allows a transparent cost overview and resource planning.
